The liveaboard - Horizon III
Horizon III, a luxurious fiberglass yacht 2 engine, is among the best diving LOB in Maldives. Her 12 Cabins can accommodate 22 Divers, with restaurant, bar- fully provided with favorite drinks, spa, and sun deck.

There are 4 experienced dive masters on board with an experience of over 15 years. Our average ratio is 1 dive master for 6 divers. Which is very rare in Maldives.

About Maldive Deep South (Laamu to Huvadhoo)
Welcome to one of the most appealing and dreamed-of dive destinations in the whole wide world!

Join Esther Lee Zuline on this unique trip because it is an expedition to Fuvahmulah Atoll, one of the few known places for Tiger Sharks! We will also have a Marine Biologist (Tadzio Bervoet) on board, who will conduct a “Shark and Coral Conservation Expedition”

This Deep South Cruises will show case 10 varieties of sharks, mantas, wreck dive and other fauna and flora. And sometimes Oceanic Giant Mantas, Hammerhead Sharks, Bull Sharks, Mola Mola and maybe even Whales!

 

Trip Details for Laamu' to Huvadhoo (7 nights):

Day 1

We depart for the adventure of a lifetime! Get ready for some fun, sun and amazing diving! Meet 0900hr at Male International Airport on 20 Jan. Domestic flight Q2 162 depart 1055. Arrive at Laamu at 1145 and transfer to Horizon III. You will be greeted with warm welcome, meet the crew, have a boat briefing before you check-in. After which, there will be a safety briefing, prepare dive equipment. Depending on weather and tide, we may have Check Dive on the first day! Lunch & dinner will be on board.

 

Day 2

  • Dive 1: Fushi Kandu

  • Dive 2: Maabaidhoo Kandu

  • Dive 3: Five ThilaIf the weather permits, we cross the one and half Degree channel (Approx 8 hours to cross). If the weather doesn’t permit, then we have to Cross on the 3rd day.

 

Day 3

We can do 3 dives only if we cross the channel at night. If we can’t cross the channel at night then we will only do 1 dive on 3rd day after arriving in Huvadhoo.

  • Dive 2: VillinGili Kandu

  • Dive 3: Kooddoo Giri

Day 4

  • Dive 1: VillinGili Kandu

  • Dive 2: Nilandhoo Kandu

  • Dive 3: Maareha Beyru
    Night anchor (BBQ night)

 

Day 5

  • Dive 1: Gemanafushi Beyru

  • Dive 2: Maareha Kandu

  • Dive 3: Kodey Kandu
    Anchorage

 

Day 6

  • Dive 1: Kuredhdhoo Kandu

  • Dive 2: Nilandhoo Kandu

  • Dive 3: Nilandhoo Thila
    Anchorage

 

Day 7

Snorkeling + Island Hopping

 

Day 8

Check-out 0400, we drop the guests to Huvadhoo airport. Flight Q2 269 depart 0520. Arrive Male 0705.

 

The water temperature usually remains between 26-29 C, and visibility at a good 15 to 30 meters, depending on the dive sites.
