NOTE :
- Minimum diving certification level of AOW (or equivalent) to dive in Sipadan. One dive permit is allowed to do two (2) dives.
- Jetty Fee (inclusive SST) - RM 10.00 per person (payable to the Municipal Council of Semporna) implemented since 2012
- TTx (Tourism Tax) – RM 10.00 per room per night (payable to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department) –implemented since 1st Sept 2017
- Snorkel by boat is not available
- No pregnant woman are allowed by boat to KAPALAI Resort
Getting there
Arrival – Please arrange an arrival flight landed to Tawau before 1400hrs in order to catch the last boat transfer 1530hrs to the resort daily
Departure – Please book a departure flight timing etd at least after 1030hrs as the earliest boat transfer out from the resort are at 0630hrs.

- Trip dates must be confirmed by 28 April 2025.
- Travel must be completed by 31 December 2025.
- 30% payment once trip date is confirmed and balance payment will be collected 60 days before the trip.
